Steam-powered caroling in St. Louis, MO
Having conspired with the Professor, we have deduced that Steampunk Caroling SHALL occur.
Further, we have narrowed down the time-space coordinates:
Sunday, December 20th at 6:30pm we shall converge upon the part of Delmar commonly referred to as "The Loop." This is in University City, a suburb of St. Louis, MO.
We shall meet at Cicero's, (much like the Santarchists) and once our party has assembled, we will march and carol along the street and in such establishments as will allow our reindeer games.
I am now accepting suggestions for carols. Traditionally, we have carried identical song-sheets. I am interested in your favorite songs.
I am also accepting submissions for "filk" Christmas songs, particularly ones that reference Steampunk themes.
Please wear your best outerwear finery, as we are unlikely to stay very many places long enough to shed our topcoats.
Lighting implements are encouraged. (Lanterns, candles, and the like. Special light-source apparatuses are encouraged. NO explosives, please.)
(Speaking of Santarchists, this year's St. Louis Santarchy is this coming Saturday. Shall I post the route? Would any Steampunks like to join in on the Jolly Santa Fun this Saturday?)
